Hello everyone, My name is Luthfia Al Hazriany. Now I’m a collage student at State University at Surabaya or called UNESA. I’m from the English Education Study Program and now I’m in third period. I have chosen this study program cause my name was entered as an eligible student, in January 2023 when my graduate called for a meeting at the mosque with the teachers. I graduated from boarding school, and my boarding school’s name is Wali Songo Ngabar Islamic Boarding School or at the Bahasa, it is “Pondok Pesantren Wali Songo Ngabar” and the accreditation is A by the score of 94, it’s just done the certification at the beginning 2023 or first of January. In boarding school is never a holiday, except an international holiday. Cause before it I never knew about universities, maybe just like famous name like UGM, UI, UB, other. Then I really already chose to dedication (at my boarding school) for four years and study at the Institute of Islam Religion Riyadhotul Mujahidin or usually it’s called by IAIRM Ngabar. And I will take the Arabic Education Study Program. Cause I more like the Arabic language than Inggris but never mind, now I will and should like it too, cause in the past I have participated in Languge’s Organization, as Language Improvement Section, Hostel Language Improvement, and Central Language Improvement. And if I am over there I should be at Ngabar Language Center.

When meeting, that my teacher said, whose entered her name to elligible’s student and she doesn’t want to continue study at out university, after this can remind here for report her name. I wait until tomorrow after back from the school. 

And the next day I have sent the letter to my father cause forbidden caling during one month, and begin to thinking what study program should I take? And suitable for my passion. After I had gotten the answer from my father, he has agreed about I choose the University outside boarding. Than he said, “if you want, you may choose at UGM, but I don’t agree about you choose university at Aceh”, and I just said yes.

I looking for the study program which there at UGM. Because I don’t like Mathematics, Biology and Chimestry or another general lesson very much, I have idea, how if I choose the English Education Study Program. Than, when I looking for it at UGM. It just there English Literacture which one the acreditasi is A and the English Education Study Program it hasn’t been Undergraduate but still diploma. Ever I want choose like electrical engineering, mechatronics engineering, religious philosophy, and others. But my farher hasn’t permitt it, and I haven’t choosed it because, Allah’s pleasure lies in the parens’ pleasure. I have asked suggestions to my teachers, my friends, and looking for information about university as much as possible.

When the day at the choosing study program came, it’s sound scared cause my friend said if we sould choose two study program and both of them must in East Java. And I haven’t prepared something about Univisity at East Java. I just prepared my choice at UGM, first is English Literature, and second is Chemistry. Cause UGM too, at Central Java Right?

I looked the University at East Java, as soon as possible. Cause my time for choosing it just one hours at Camputer Lab. I got UNESA and UNEJ. The last I have choosed frist choice is English Literacture at UGM, and the second is English Education Study Program at UNESA. And why I choosed English Education Study Program at UNESA, I didn’t know too. I just choosed it quickly or just random choice. 

When SNBP was announced. I stay tune at my mobile handphone at morning, and just announced it at 3 o’clock pm. Then I accepted at UNESA. I don’t mixed up about I don’t accepted at the UGM. I praise how ever the way, above all I can continue my study for undergraduate. Cause I haven’t expeted too much at UGM. 

And after undergraduate from UNESA I should back to my boarding for dedication at least one year. But my father instruct me to continue for Master at the UNIDA GONTOR. I just follow the way, but not because I don’t have plan. But remember Man proposes, God disposes”.

So, my obstacles that I faced while learning English in term of daily life I think nothing because the means for studying now is so much, I can learn from the application at handphone and from the book and anothers way.

Cause the key of study language is just one, speaking. If you try you speak English anytime and anyway, it’s going easy for your study.
